S&R Cagayan de Oro's Newest Hit of the City

When rumors of an S&R branch will be put up here in Cagayan de Oro, it spread like wildfire. People cant help to think and speculate where and when it will be materialized. Others even said it will be put up in an uptown area. Rumors was then put into halt when banners was seen in Barangay Kauswagan where a blue fence and make shift office from a couple of container vans was installed. At last! S&R is now in CdeO. after which, people filled their membership for the much awaited opening of store. Come July 28 2016, the store opened its doors for the first sale.

We can see that it was a HUGE success! Shoppers have two ways to enjoy their shopping experience: first, is the low price products. Not just same - used to - products but products of the best quality from local produce, fresh ready to eat meals and imported items. Speaking of fresh ready to eat meals, the second way of enjoying the S&R shopping is the S&R food service.

People even call it the "Newest Pizza Craze". Aside from the pizza, diners also crave for the Southern fried chicken and the clam chowder.

as for me and for this blog, let me say Congratulations S&R CdeO! thank you for the lowest prices and great deals and most of all, for employing Kagayan-ons workforce and local suppliers in the region.

Are you a member now? if not yet, then just proceed to the Membership Counter upon entering the store. Please present your two valid, membership payment of 700 pesos for the Gold Members OR 900 pesos for Business Members. Extension cards is 400 pesos per extension. Meet the Nest Squad

Im so glad that i won a seat for the Meet and Greet of the Nest Squad - Brand ambassadresses of The nest - namely: Ms. Camille Co, Ms. Nicole Anderson, Ms. Vern and Ms. Vernice Enciso and Ms. Laureen Uy.

Of course yours truly is a foodie and not into fashion and beauty that is why I am somewhat a bit lost into the conversation BUT we do a have in common, we love to travel. If you see their Instagram accounts they share both fashion & beauty and their travels. I do not envy their fashion statements but I do envy their travel experiences.

The Nest is one of the "go to" places here in Cagayan de Oro. Located along Corrales street. It houses three food places: Maison de bonbon which specializes French food; Giuseppe which specializes about pizza and Italian roast; and the 3rd one is upcoming. I heard its a pub.

Softly opened last 18th of June and (barely a month after) on 23rd of July they grandly opened with a bang with this meet and greet and a VIP night.

Enjoy the best of the Pokemon GO worldwide craze with freenet and PayMaya

Filipinos keenly anticipating the launch of Pokemon GO can now stay updated on the upcoming release of the game in the Philippines and fully enjoy the game when it launches with the help of Freenet and PayMaya.

my PokemonGo

Now a certified worldwide phenomenon, Pokemon GO is a location-based mobile game developed by Niantic Labs in partnership with Nintendo affiliate The Pokemon Company. The mobile game allows players to catch Pokemon or "pocket monsters" as if in real life using the GPS and camera of their smartphones.

The game is currently available in Australia, New Zealand, USA, UK, and select European countries. It has yet to launch in any Asian country, including Japan where the original Pokemon game originated.

Get Pokemon GO updates with freenet
Those who want to stay updated on news about the upcoming release of the game in the Philippines may now download the freenet app on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Through freenet, Smart, TNT, and Sun subscribers will be able to read the latest news and social media feeds from the local Pokemon GO community for free and with no data charges.

This is part of freenet’s mission to enable communities such as those who are eager to play Pokemon GO to stay active and participate in various activities and discussions through digital means.

This follows the successful live streaming of President Rodrigo Duterte’s inauguration and the Gilas Pilipinas FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament games through freenet, which allowed Filipinos to be digitally present in these historic events even if they are not physically able to do so.
Purchase Pokecoins with PayMaya.

Meanwhile, once the Pokemon GO app launches in the Philippines, players will be able to fully enjoy the game through in-app purchases with the help of PayMaya, the easiest way to pay online even without a credit card.

Players only have to download the PayMaya app on the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store, load up their accounts with at least P60 to cover the standard app store verification fee, and link their virtual VISA card to their app store accounts to be able to make in-app purchases for Pokecoins, the in-app currency used inside the Pokemon GO game.

With the help of Pokecoins, players will be able to purchase various items that will help them easily navigate the game, such as Pokeballs to catch Pokemon with, Pokemon eggs that allow them to “hatch” Pokemon, Potions to restore the health of their Pokemon, and Incense and Lure Modules that make it easy to attract wild Pokemon to their immediate vicinity.

In-app purchases are made more convenient with PayMaya as mobile game players can easily load up at any of the over 15,000 PayMaya reloading stations nationwide that include SM Malls Business Centers, Robinsons Department Stores, Bayad Centers, 7-Eleven stores with Cliqq kiosks, TouchPay Kiosks, and Smart Padala Centers, on top of online banking via BDO.

Aside from the mobile app, PayMaya customers can also opt to have their own PayMaya physical prepaid card which can be used in brick-and-mortar stores worldwide that accept Visa. A variant also comes with its own beep™ wallet, allowing users to ride the MRT, LRT, some city buses and other beep™-powered transportation for their daily commute, so they can easily explore the city in search of wild Pokemon.

Users who upgrade their PayMaya account can use their PayMaya for peer-to-peer money transfers and ATM withdrawals.

For more information about PayMaya and how users can get their own PayMaya card, visit To know more about the free and fun way to connect through freenet, visit

S & R Cagayan de Oro Opens on July 28

Yes folks! In just a week the much awaited opening of S&R Membership Shopping Center. S&R is located along Kauswagan Highway in front of RMTI depot just before Bulua Market.

My First S&R experience was way back 2014, when wife and I, together with her brother and his family, traveled to Bantayan Island. When we came back to Cebu City we had dinner in S&R wherein borther-in-law is a member.

What did we had? Well, after the nieces toured us on the shopping floor and tricked us to go to the cold produce storage. (the nieces are laughing out loud when they seen our foggy breath) we shared fast food that S&R is known for:

Pepperoni New York Style Pizza;

Scoops of Ice cream, If I remember it right thats Chocolate, Strawberry and Coffee flavors. Blue Bunny Brand.

Grilled Chicken (and Southern style Chicken, sorry no photo of this, niece is so hungry she ate it as soon as we opened the box). D### those chicken pieces are so big.

and of course my personal favorite, bottomless drinks.

Are you a member yet? Well if not, please do so. All you need is to present two valid IDs, filled up form and personally go to the store for photo capture. You can get your membership ID right away. As for the fees, Gold Membership is 700 and 400 pesos for its extension. Business Membership is 900 pesos and 400 pesos for the extension. Membership is good for one year.

Besides for the fast food area, I’m also looking forward to the low priced items. Some items can only be seen in S&R that is why being a member is a good bargain. When I filled my membership, the clerk also said to me that they will also have a car care center.

So folks, see you in S&R on the 28th. Doors opens at 10 in the morning.

Photo above is their "green chair" section with a rate of 20 pesos per hour. The "black chair" have a rate of 15 pesos per hour (photo below). They also have a VIP room that cost 50 pesos per hour.

Greenwich Pizzeria and the new Greenwich Bacon Pizza

Greenwich, the nation's one of the best pizza chain is having a major renovation - aesthetically. It is called "Pizzeria", wherein dining guest will experience an Italian pizzeria atmosphere and ambiance. Balcony, earth tones and of course, authentic Italian pizza fresh from a pizzeria oven.

SM City Cagayan de Oro is the first Greenwich Pizzeria store here in Mindanao. Other branches will soon follow. So please bear with the management if your next favorite branch will close for a moment for the said renovations.

In light with this renovation, Greenwich is also glad to inform the public that they a new pizza flavor, the Bacon Crispy Thins. Cheese, lots of bacon in a their signature crust.

Even though that it's called "crispy thins" it is also be available in thick crust. Personally, i like the thick crust more because it balances the rich toppings of bacon and cheese. The advantage of having it on thin crust, for me, is that you can enjoy the toppings fully and that "crunch" sounds makes it more appetizing and asking for me. Goodbye diet for sure.

Price starts at 220 pesos (double thin crust) for a limited time only. So dine now at Greenwich for that ultimate overloaded barkada bonding.

Primavera City Launched

If you can recall, I made some articles regarding this green condominium project that will stand in the heart of Uptown CdeO and it will be named “Primavera City”.

The grand launch was held in Pueblo Golf Clubhouse last 24th of June 2016. Witnessed by different stakeholders, agent brokers, investors, Italpinas Development Corporation employees, Media Practitioners and other beloved friends.

Primavera City, if I am not mistaken, will have seven (7) towers to be built in two (2) phases: phase one will be the two towers then the remaining 4 towers and its high rise hotel will soon follow.

That night, the scale model of Primavera City was unveiled and introduced to all the future plans. Mr. Sean Oliver Moreno, son of the beloved Mayor of this City, compared uptown CdeO to a balcony of a cinema. Wherein the best seat in a cinema is on the balcony (upper part) and that's uptown, the best seat of this city.

Primavera City will be a mixed used high raised condominium complete with retail shops of all kinds. It is near a good shopping mall and of course, easy transport system. Unit area starts at 29 sq. meters up to 60 sq. meter.

World class amenities with an amazing view of the bay awaits for all Primavera City residents: Sky Garden; Sky Pool; Gym; Playground; Function Halls and Sauna. Since it is a mixed-used building, retail shops and offices are also in store. come to think of it, your workplace is just a few floors below your residential unit.

To know more details of the units head to Primavera office on the second floor of Primavera Residences. Believe me owning a Primavera unit is money worth investing for.
