Cebu Pacific Air: New Aircraft with a New Livery

The Philippines’ leading carrier, Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), received its first Airbus A320 aircraft with the new livery today, January 22, 2016. The aircraft was delivered brand-new from the Airbus factory in Toulouse, France with Philippine Aircraft Registration RP-C4107.

Equipped with fuel-saving wingtip devices called Sharklets, the Airbus A320 is coated with CEB’s new logo which was first rolled out in June 2015. The theme builds on the Philippines’ natural canvas as inspiration, and showcases shades of the country’s land, sea, sky, and sun.

CEB is also set to accept delivery of another brand-new Airbus A320 with the revamped livery, before the end of January. With these two deliveries, CEB will be operating 8 Airbus A319, 35 Airbus A320, 6 Airbus A330, and 8 ATR 72-500 aircraft. CEB’s fleet is one of the youngest in the world, with an average age of 4.69 years.

“As we look to celebrate the airline’s 20th anniversary this year, we proudly welcome this addition to our fleet which features Cebu Pacific’s new logo. The plane’s refreshed livery signifies the airline’s growth and evolution from pioneering low-cost travel in the Philippines, to successfully growing its flight operations across key domestic and international markets today," said Atty. JR Mantaring, CEB Vice President for Corporate Affairs.

Between 2016 and 2021, CEB will also take delivery of 3 more brand-new Airbus A320, 30 Airbus A321neo, and 16 ATR 72-600 aircraft.

For bookings and inquiries, guests can visit or call the reservation hotlines (+632)7020-888 or (+6332)230-8888. The latest seat sales can be found on CEB’s official Twitter (@CebuPacificAir) and Facebookpages.

Guests may also download the Cebu Pacific official mobile app on the App Store and Google Play.

My special thanks to Mr. Gianan and Mr. Felimon for allowing me to post their photos.

Seda Centrio's Thai Food Week

Seda Centrio Hotel and it's in-house Chef Racel Aras wants Kagay-anons to experience Thai Cuisine Characteristics: aromatic, hot and spicy, harmony of all sweet, bitter, sour, and salty.

For one week, diners of Seda Centrio’s Misto will get to enjoy a Thai food fest for only Php599 nett (inclusive of service charge and applicable local taxes). Chef Racel has prepared a unique menu that showcases not only the classic Thai favorites, but also some deliciously interesting creative fusion dishes. So, whether you prefer the hot and spicy Thai specialties, or the more modern culinary creations, you’ll find something to indulge in at the week-long food fest.

The usual Thai table staples are spring rolls; puffed rice cakes; satay; hot and spicy or sweet, sour, and salty meat and herbal salad; curries; noodle dishes; and different varieties of dips. These dips are usually made from fish sauce, shrimp paste, garlic, lime juice, and chilies, among others.

Single dish meals are usually paired with rice, while spicy dishes are always taken with non-spicy or bland dishes to balance the flavors – and to do away with possible discomfort.

Thais love sweets, so desserts are a regular presence in any Thai food fest.

Thai food dining is all about harmony; a harmony of flavors, colors, and aromas. It is a blend of the hot and spicy, and the sweet and the sour. It is a culinary adventure any food lover will enjoy.

Experience this flavorful adventure at Seda Centrio’s Misto for one week, from January 25 to 31, 2016. The Thai dinner buffet will open at 6pm all the way until 10pm.

Seda Centrio Hotel is located along Corrales Avenue, right in the heart of the Centrio Ayala Mall community. Misto Restaurant is at the 4th floor of the hotel.

For inquiries and reservations, please call 088-323 8888 or 0917-577 5910.

Taan hâi a-ròi, everyone! Happy eating!
