I heard/read some rumors and speculations as to why Philippine Airlines did this but still I'm optimistic that this move is for the greater good of its loyal passengers. Let me quote this from one of the replies of PAL when FB Netizens asked why and I Quote "We are in the process of reviewing our flight network and schedule and will be carrying out certain operational changes in the domestic sector as we implement realignments of some of our flights". Lets just wait and see for further updates.

2014 Google GeoWalk and Map Up Cagayan de Oro Season 1

22 February 2014
DVsoria, Cagayan de Oro City

The Google Business Group (GBG) Cagayan de Oro invited around 30 people for a Google GeoWalk and Map Up of DVsoria, more particularly in T.Neri and Abejuela Streets. We all met in Kiosko Kagawasan and after some briefing and grouping we all went to do the survey and data gathering. I'm part of the CDO Bloggers and we in "Team Tres" (the green shade on the map). We covered establishments along T. Neri Street from Velez St. to Rizal St.

After the data gathering, we all met up converged in Magsaysay Plaza then we went to 5/f of Faber Hall in Ateneo de Cagayan-Xavier University for the map up.

For the Map up, we encoded all data gathered using the Google Map Maker (https://www.google.com.ph/mapmaker). While we are at it, we also deleted and edited (reviewed) date entered by other Google Map Maker Users.

It was a fun filled activity and since its just season one, we are all excited for the next season which is scheduled on the second half of the year. GBG CDO also have more fun filled activities instore so we will also wait for it. To our account, they still have 4 more activities for the first half of the year alone.

Until then, kita kits.

Google Business Group (GBG) Cagayan de Oro Community first meet up

8 February 2014
Greenwich DVsoria

The Google Business Group (GBG) Cagayan de Oro Community headed by Mr. Jon Doblados shared to us GBG's plans for this year. This is just an informal and short meet-up but mind you it was fully organized and no non-sense.

Before he hand down the future plans and activities. He shared first the round up of activities happened in the year 2013. As a first time participant, hearing those past activities made me more enthusiastic to attend the future meet ups and activities.

For this year, GBG CDO community have five activities in two seasons for the year:

  • GeoWalk and Map Up;
  • Women on the Web;
  • Trainers Training;
  • GDayX;
  • GBG Transformation Challenge.

Each activity will be head twice this year: season 1 will be scheduled for the first half and season 2 will be on the second half. We will just wait for further announcements for full details like the time, date and place of the said activities.

The meet up ended with a fellowship and simple snacks courtesy of Greenwich and Red Apron.

Thank you once again GBG and CDO Bloggers for this event. This is my frist event both for GBG and CDO Bloggers.

Boyong's Special Bagoong

May this photo - even not clear - speak for itself.

This variant is spicy. It has pork bits. Not salty nor had strong smell.

I love this for green mangoes and kare-kare.

PS: Wife is not yet preggy. Its normal or usual for us to eat green mangoes atleast 3x a month that is why shrimp paste is a basic condiment in our household.

Special thanks to Oh My Goods Convenient Store. Located at the back of Tita Fannies XU-Hayes Branch and in front of Albertos Pizza and Casa Azusena.
